Our vintage coin pieces start from an impression of the front and back of each coin in our collection which we use as the starting point for the pieces we create. We allow melted wax to flow and create the unique shapes, forms and variations you see in each one.

Curios

Curios

What’s curious about a Curio? Every single Curio within a collection is entirely unique. Using a mould of the original vintage coin, we play with liquid wax to create a unique impression, later cast in metal.

Just as the original coins bear the marks of use and time, these new iterations retain something of the fluidity of the wax that creates them.
